SmartRelay AX Classic Smart Intego

The SmartIntego family is growing –
the new smart relay for access control.

The SmartRelay AX Classic is a new member in the SmartIntego family. It extends the product portfolio with a device, that allows to control not only gates, doors and turnstiles, but also connects to machines, devices, lighting and much more. Based on the new AX platform, the SmartRelay AX Classic accepts passive RFID media, like cards, transponders, key-fobs. And it is prepared to be used with smartphones having a Bluetooth® Low Energy interface and an appropriate app in future.

This new solution consists of two components, both, a secure controller unit and a reader unit. The reader is already optimized for rough environments. Versions with weather and vandalism are offered for even more harsh surroundings.

The device can be ordered for three SmartIntego modes, WO Wireless Online for integration into WaveNet networks, plus two offline variants, VCN Virtual Card Network and also new, OSS Standard Offline.

Versions

Dedicated SmartRelay AX Classic controller and reader versions for the three SmartIntego operating modes

:: VCN Virtual Card Network: A cost-effective and secure card-based virtual network

:: WO Wireless Online: For wirelessly linked online networks. Reader unit with preinstalled LNI WaveNet LockNode

:: OSS Open Standard Offline: Card-based offline access environment, based on OSS-SO compliant cards on Mifare® DESFire® technology

Most users only see SmartRelay AX Classic readers, when presenting their card asking for access. Variants include

:: Housing colour white or dark grey

:: WP as a weather protected version

:: COVER against vandalism, an additional cover protects the reader unit, of course in the same housing colour as the reader
